The Alma Arms

The Alma Arms is one of the oldest pubs in the Highland Road/Albert Road area, with a history dating back to at least the 1850s and the opening of the Royal Marine Barracks at Eastney. The plan of the original Victorian farmhouse is still recognizable in the layout of the main buildings today.

The Raglan Rooms

The rear bar and hall have been extensively refurbished and will reopen in the New Year as The Raglan Rooms - a brand new eclectic live music venue for the Portsmouth area with a 150+ capacity, licensed bar, extensive soundproofing, air conditioning, PA and lighting rig.

The combination of a traditional pub and a specialised live music venue under the same roof is unique in the Portsmouth area.
