Short notice for this one, but if you can then come down and see Bill and the boys on Saturday. These guys are one of the best rockabilly acts in the UK, and everything we’ve heard about them suggests we’re in for a fantastic night.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who came to our first big Christmas Eve Bash and made the night a resounding success.

The Mosquitos (no E!) really blew the lid off the Raglan Rooms, playing a fantastic selection of classic rock’n'roll covers.

Meanwhile, Jimmy hosted the Karaoke Party in the main bar, which went down a storm; T.A. Ted took first prize in the fancy dress for his burly fairy - complete with delightful pink tutu and hobnail boots - but all the costumes were great and special thanks go out to everyone who went that extra mile to make this night so memorable.

Jimmy will also be hosting the New Year’s Eve party in the main bar. Free entry, no tickets required, so if you’re in the Portsmouth area please come along and have a great time singing out ‘06 and partying in ‘07.

This Sunday sees our first big Christmas Eve bash, and we’re in a party mood - we’ve got live rock’n'roll in the Raglan Rooms courtesy of The Mosquitos, and a karaoke party in the main bar with a prize for the best fancy dress costume.

Get away from the Christmas preparations for a few hours and enjoy some cheap beer, loud music and good company.
